Last minute Christmas crafts and decorations

by Melinda

Today I have two simple Christmas crafts for you. They will not only brighten your home, but they’re easy to make and fast too.

Beer mug:

If you have a den or study, this is a great way to brighten a corner or end table.

Fill the mug (or stein) with tall sprays of greens and trim with tiny gold balls. Place pine cones in mug and let more cones and greens surround it on a table.

Centerpiece for your Christmas dinner table:

A flower basket is normally stored away in the closet during the winter. But it can be turned into a colorful Christmas centerpiece.

Simply wrap the handles with red ribbon and attach a bow.

Fill basket with evergreens and ball ornaments. And the nice thing about this Christmas centerpiece is that your dinner guests can see over it for unobstructed conversations.

You can’t get much simpler than that. And both Christmas crafts start with something you probably already have in the house. What simple and fast craft ideas can you share? What’s your favorite example of decorating with something at hand?
